Ingredients
  

  • 4 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Your favorite cookies (like chocolate chip or Oreos)
  • Milk for soaking the cookies
  • Chocolate chips or sprinkles for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. This will add airiness to the lasagna, making it light and fluffy.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream; you want the layers to remain fluffy.
  4. Pour some milk into a shallow dish. Dip each cookie into the milk for just a moment, ensuring they are moist but not soggy. This will help create the perfect texture.
  5. In your baking dish, start by placing a layer of dipped cookies at the bottom. Spread a portion of the cream cheese mixture over the cookies, smoothing it out evenly. Repeat this process, alternating layers of cookies and the cream cheese mixture until you reach the top of the dish. Finish with a layer of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.
  7. Once chilled, garnish your Milk & Cookies Lasagna with chocolate chips or sprinkles if desired. Slice into squares and serve to your friends and family!
