Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
  2. Step 2: Line the 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease the sides with olive oil.
  3. Step 3: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, olive oil, sugar, eggs, orange zest, orange juice, and orange extract until smooth.
  4. Step 4: In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold until just combined.
  6. Step 6: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Step 7: Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
