Cooking Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey or maple syrup, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
- Step 3: Place the chicken legs in a large resealable plastic bag or a baking dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each leg is coated thoroughly. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Step 4: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, place a wire rack on top if available, and arrange the marinated chicken legs on the rack or directly on the baking sheet.
- Step 5: Bake the chicken legs for about 35-45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Broil on high for the last 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Step 6: Remove from the oven, let the chicken rest for a few minutes, and serve with your favorite side dishes.
