  • 1.5 cups Milk
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream or half-and-half

  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
Bread
  • 8 cups French bread, cubed Use day-old bread for better texture.

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare Your Slow Cooker - Lightly grease your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Step 2: Combine the Custard Mixture - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Step 3: Cube the French Bread - Cut the French bread into approximately 1-inch cubes.
  4. Step 4: Layer the Ingredients - Place half of the cubed French bread in the slow cooker, followed by half of the peaches and raspberries, and half of the custard mixture. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  5. Step 5: Cook the French Toast - Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until set.
  6. Step 6: Serve and Enjoy - Fluff the French toast with a fork and serve warm with whipped cream and powdered sugar.

Notes

For best results, use day-old French bread. You can also substitute other fruits or add nuts for extra texture.
