Ingredients

For the Smoothie:
  • 1 cup almond milk or other milk of your choice
  • 1 small banana (frozen for a creamier texture)
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (choose your favorite brand)
  • 1 scoop protein powder or ½ cup Greek yogurt

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Glass or mason jar

Method

Instructions:
  1. Gather all your ingredients ready to go. This will make the blending process much smoother.
  2. In your blender, combine 1 cup of almond milk, 1 small frozen banana, 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter, and either 1 scoop of protein powder or ½ cup of Greek yogurt.
  3. Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is incorporated.
  4. Once blended, taste your smoothie. If you prefer it sweeter, you can add a drizzle of honey or a few dates. Blend again if you add anything.
  5. Pour your Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie into a glass or mason jar and enjoy immediately. For a fun touch, add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few banana slices on top!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
  • For meal prep, pour blended smoothie into ice cube trays and freeze.
  • Feel free to swap peanut butter for almond or sunflower seed butter for different flavors.
