- Start by popping the microwave butter popcorn according to the package instructions. Once it’s done, carefully remove it from the microwave and let it cool slightly.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the creamy peanut butter and the butter. Stir continuously until both are melted and well blended.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the popped popcorn and tiny pretzel twists. Pour the melted peanut butter and butter mixture over the popcorn and pretzels. Using a spatula, gently toss everything together until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the mixture, starting with 3/4 cup. Toss again until well coated. Add more powdered sugar to taste if desired.
- Gently fold in the peanut butter M&M's, taking care not to break any of them.
- Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow it to cool completely before breaking into bite-sized clusters.

- For a savory twist, add a sprinkle of sea salt or crushed nuts.
