Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 bag microwave butter popcorn (3 oz)
  • 1 cup tiny pretzel twists
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 - 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter M&M's

Equipment

  • Microwave
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Baking Sheet

Method

Instructions
  1. Start by popping the microwave butter popcorn according to the package instructions. Once it’s done, carefully remove it from the microwave and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the creamy peanut butter and the butter. Stir continuously until both are melted and well blended.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add the popped popcorn and tiny pretzel twists. Pour the melted peanut butter and butter mixture over the popcorn and pretzels. Using a spatula, gently toss everything together until evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the mixture, starting with 3/4 cup. Toss again until well coated. Add more powdered sugar to taste if desired.
  5. Gently fold in the peanut butter M&M's, taking care not to break any of them.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow it to cool completely before breaking into bite-sized clusters.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for freshness.
  • For a savory twist, add a sprinkle of sea salt or crushed nuts.
  • Feel free to customize with different M&M's or chocolate chips.
