  • 1/2 cupnonfat Greek yogurtplain
  • 3/4 cupmilk
  • 1 tbsphoney

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Put 1 cup frozen diced pear into the blender (if using fresh pears, dice and freeze them first).
  2. Add 1/4 cup oats.
  3. Add 1/2 tsp grated ginger and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
  4. Add 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt.
  5. Pour in 3/4 cup milk.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon honey.
  7. Secure the blender lid and blend on low to start, then increase to high until the mixture is smooth (about 30–60 seconds); stop and scrape down the sides once if needed, then blend again.
  8. Taste and, only if the smoothie is too thick, add a small splash of additional milk and blend briefly to reach desired consistency.
  9. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
