Ingredients
  

For the Salad:
  • 5 oz kale or baby kale mix fresh, vibrant leaves
  • 2 large heads romaine lettuce crispy and fresh
  • 1/2 small head red cabbage shredded or chopped

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Wash your greens under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities. Use a salad spinner to dry thoroughly.
  2. Remove the tough stems from the kale and chop into bite-sized pieces. Use whole baby kale if preferred.
  3. Remove any wilted outer leaves from the romaine and chop the inner leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Slice the red cabbage into thin shreds for added crunch.
  5. In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped kale, romaine, and shredded red cabbage. Toss gently.
  6. Dress your salad with vinaigrette or olive oil with lemon juice if desired.
