  • 15 ounces Pumpkin puree Not pumpkin pie filling
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1.5 cups Heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup Light brown sugar Packed
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground ginger

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and sour cream. Whisk until smooth.
  • Step 3: Add the eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt. Beat until smooth.
  • Step 4: Slowly pour in the heavy cream, mixing gently.
  • Step 5: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the pumpkin filling into it.
  • Step 6: Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the filling is set and edges are slightly puffed.
  • Step 7: Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or chilled.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with whole milk. This dessert tastes even better the next day.
