Course: Appetizer
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 2 packages cream cheese softened
  • 1 can white chicken breast drained
  • 1 package Ranch dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup salsa (I used Trader Joe's)

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula or mixing spoon
  • Measuring Cups
  • Serving dish

Method

  1. Begin by ensuring your cream cheese is softened. If it’s too firm, you can microwave it for about 15-20 seconds to make it easier to mix. Drain the can of chicken and shred it with a fork if necessary.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and the ranch dressing mix. Use your spatula or mixing spoon to blend them together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Next, incorporate the drained white chicken breast into the cream cheese mixture. Stir well to ensure the chicken is evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  4. Now, add the salsa to the chicken and cream cheese mixture. Mix everything together until you achieve a consistent texture.
  5. Give your dip a taste! If you'd like a little more kick, feel free to add extra salsa or a dash of hot sauce.
  6. For the best flavor, let your dip chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully. Serve with your favorite dippers, and enjoy the rave reviews!

Notes

  • For a warm version, heat in the oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes until bubbly.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
  • Add black beans or corn for seasonal variations!
