Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon green onion chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Large Bowl

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with the olive oil, kosher salt, and ground black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet, leaving space between pieces so they are not touching.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip each wing and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and the skin is crispy.
  5. Transfer the wings to a serving platter and sprinkle with chopped green onion before serving.

Notes

  • Pat wings dry before tossing for crispier skin.
  • Use room-temperature wings for even cooking.
  • Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
