Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup chopped strawberries (about 6 medium strawberries)
  • 1/3 cup fresh blueberries
  • 15 ounce vanilla yogurt (or vegan yogurt)
  • 1/3 cup granola (your favorite)
  • Extra strawberries (for decoration, sliced and shaped with a star-shaped cookie cutter)
  • 4-5 extra blueberries (for garnish)

Equipment

  • 12-ounce glass or mason jar
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife
  • Measuring Cups
  • Spoon

Method

  1. Start by washing your fresh strawberries and blueberries thoroughly. Once rinsed, slice the strawberries into bite-sized pieces. Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out star shapes from some of the sliced strawberries.
  2. In your mason jar or glass, add a layer of vanilla yogurt at the bottom, using about 1/3 of the container.
  3. On top of the yogurt layer, add half of the chopped strawberries and a few fresh blueberries.
  4. Sprinkle about half of your chosen granola over the fruit layer.
  5. Repeat the layering process with another layer of yogurt, followed by the remaining strawberries, blueberries, and granola.
  6. For the final touch, arrange the star-shaped strawberry slices on top along with a few extra blueberries.
  7. Your parfait is now ready to be enjoyed! Grab a spoon and dig in while the granola is still crunchy and the fruits are fresh.
