Method

  1. Gather all your ingredients. Ensure your apple is cored and chopped, and chop the date if using.
  2. In your blender, combine the rolled oats, water, and milk. Blend on high until smooth.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt, cinnamon, turmeric, chopped apple, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and lemon juice into the blender. If using, toss in the chopped date.
  4. Blend everything until fully combined and smooth. Adjust thickness with more water or milk if desired.
  5. Add a handful of ice cubes and blend again until crushed and mixed in.
  6. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass or mason jar. Dust with cinnamon on top and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, use plant-based yogurt and milk.
  • Feel free to swap out the apple for other fruits like pears or bananas.
