The Method for Symphony Bars
- Step 1: Preheat the Oven. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that the Symphony Bars bake evenly.
- Step 2: Prepare the Baking Pan. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
- Step 3: Mix Dry Ingredients. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Step 4: Combine Wet Ingredients. In another bowl, mix the melted and cooled butter with the light brown sugar until well combined. Add the lightly beaten eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Step 5: Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Step 6: Fold in Symphony Bars. Gently fold in the broken pieces of Symphony Bars, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Step 7: Bake the Bars. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Step 8: Cool and Serve. Once baked, let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out using the parchment paper and cool completely before cutting.
Notes
