Method:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki Sauce and cayenne pepper.
- Step 3: Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the black cod fillets skin-side down for about 3-4 minutes.
- Step 4: Flip the fillets and brush the teriyaki sauce mixture over the top side of the fish.
- Step 5: Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes.
- Step 6: Remove from the oven, let rest for a couple of minutes, and serve with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables.
Notes
- Use fresh black cod for the best flavor and texture.
- Simmer the teriyaki sauce for a thicker glaze.
- Add sesame seeds or chopped green onions for garnish.
