Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 3 cups rolled oats (certified GF if necessary)
  • 1 cup coconut milk powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • Chopped dried fruit (like apricots, raisins, or cranberries)
  • Chopped nuts or seeds (like almonds, walnuts, or chia seeds)
  • Granulated sweetener of choice (like coconut sugar or stevia)
  • Ground spices (like cardamom, nutmeg, or ginger)
  • Maple syrup (for topping)

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Storage containers
  • Whisk or spoon

Method

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add 3 cups of rolled oats, 1 cup of coconut milk powder, 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder, and ½ teaspoon of sea salt. Use a whisk or spoon to mix everything together until well incorporated.
  2. Depending on your taste preference, add your choice of granulated sweetener and any additional ground spices you love, such as cardamom, nutmeg, or ginger. Mix again to distribute the flavors evenly.
  3. Once your dry ingredients are thoroughly mixed, transfer them into storage containers. Make sure to seal them well to keep the oatmeal fresh. This mix can last for several weeks in a cool, dry place.
  4. When you’re ready to enjoy your oatmeal, measure out 1/2 cup of the mix into a bowl. Add hot water or milk (dairy or plant-based) to your desired consistency, usually about 1 cup. Stir and let it sit for a minute or two to thicken.
  5. Top your oatmeal with chopped dried fruits, nuts, seeds, and a drizzle of maple syrup. Mix it all together and enjoy the creamy goodness!

Notes

  • Customize your oatmeal with various toppings for different flavors.
  • Store the dry mixture in airtight containers for freshness.
  • Let the oatmeal sit before eating for the best texture.
