Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste or Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 0.25 cup Water Adjust for desired consistency.
  • 3 tablespoons Granulated Sugar Less if using ketchup.

Optional Spices

  • Hot Sauce To taste.
  • Cayenne Pepper To taste.
  • Red Chili Flakes For extra spice.

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients and tools: a mixing bowl, a whisk or spoon, and an airtight container for storage.
  • In your mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise with tomato paste or ketchup to form the creamy base.
  • Add the melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to the mixture.
  • Slowly add in the water to adjust the consistency of the sauce.
  • Stir in the granulated sugar, adjusting the amount if using ketchup.
  • If desired, add hot sauce, cayenne pepper, or red chili flakes for heat.
  • Whisk all ingredients thoroughly until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to one week. Stir in a little water if the sauce thickens after storage.
